The kind of wife I want for my boys is someone who will love them and care for them the way I do. I would want her to give them hugs and tell them she is proud of them. So whenever I think of that, it reminds me to be that kind of wife for my husband. I'm sure that is what my mother n' law Marilyn would want. I adore Dave like she does, I think a man will always need the nurturing side of a woman...I just thought of Dave ready to board his plane tonight in the airport ,with a cold, eating trail mix for dinner and would probably love for his wife to nurture him when he got home.

  1. I have been reading your posts. My daughter Kaidence had a heart transplant December 23, 2007. We also know your cousin Paul. My heart goes out to you and your family. The lessons learned are priceless. Your children will be blessed with wonderful gifts of grattitude and compassion. Kaidence had 2 older brothers at the time (3 and 5) while we were waiting for her heart. This experiance although hard, has molded and shaped them into unique little boys. They have learned great lessons of faith that will never be forgotten. I found myself many days clinging to the faith of my little boys. No matter what age, hearts are touched and the seed is planted. My prayers are with you and your sweet family as you try to balance everything ahead. People are good and they want to help....let them. This saying hangs in my home and it use to hang in Kaidence's hospital room "FAITH makes things possible...not easy. I can ever do ANYTHING please let me know. You can reach me through Kaidence's blog. Sending prayers your way!
