The partial collapse was due to mucus plug. They just suctioned her out. The mucosa (walls inside the lung) looks in their words "incredible". It doesnt usually look this good this early they said. It was pink with out reddness indicating inflammation. The incision looks very clean and good with just a small area that was darker that they called a "scab". It was hard to differentiate already where her bronch ended and the new lung bronch began. It was good to hear their enthusiasm.
